AddressCurrently seeking a qualified and experienced Return to Work Coordinator or Nurse to join the team at a leading meat processing company. The successful candidate will provide immediate first aid services and health services for all workers, assist injured workers to Return to Work, and ensure compliance with relevant First Aid and Work Health Safety (WHS) Codes of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency and routine first aid treatment for workers, staff, and visitors
Assist injured workers to Return to Work and provide support and guidance to supervisors and staff
Administer first aid services in the event of emergency evacuations
Deal with emergency health-related incidents, including mental health matters
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant First Aid and Work Health Safety (WHS) Codes of Practice
Requirements:
Occupational First Aid - Skill Set: HLTSS00068
Reasonable computer literacy including Health Centre and Incident Management software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Time management and organisation skills
Problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and clear-headed in emergency situations
Desirable:
Return to Work Coordinator training
Experience in the meat or food processing industry
At least two years' experience working in a high-risk, culturally diverse environment with large workforces
