Chandler Macleod is pleased to announce our partnership with Moira Shire Council to assist in the recruitment of a Revenue Coordinator as part of their dynamic team.
With a strong attention to detail, this Revenue Coordinator needs to excel in leading people, achieve deadlines and deliver positive outcomes for the Council and its ratepayers. As a proactive communicator who has experience in Local Government rates team you will support and manage the resourcing needs of the revenue and rates team.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
- Monitor trends in revenue collection, rating procedures and practices.
- Undertake specific projects regarding rating practices and relevant policy and procedures.
- Monthly reporting on the performance on the Council's Rates recovery
- Ensure Councils property and rating software is current and at industry best practice level.
- Extensive experience with rating and rating systems.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in a comparable role.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- High quality interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
