The Opportunity
The Coordinator Revenue Services will provide leadership and direction to our Revenue Services team, ensuring the delivery of services that are responsive, relevant and accessible to all clients whilst operating within a legislative framework.

This is a Permanent full time opportunity to provide our Revenue Services team with leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual valuation and rates notice / instalment notice processes in accordance with Council requirements and legislation;
- Coordinate the production of Councils voters roll, in line with statutory requirements, for use in Council elections held every four years;
- Prepare and compile documentation to facilitate financial compliance reporting, including end of financial year, annual audit and Grants Commission;
- Undertake the recovery of rates, charges, FSPL and other debts in accordance with legislation, policy and procedures;
- Participate in the development of Council's annual budget, providing rate modelling and scenario analysis to support the rating plan and rating system decision process;
- Substantial experience in successfully leading and developing employees.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Administration / Accounting or a related discipline with extensive experience in management and administration of rates and charges;
- Extensive understanding of Rating and Valuations practices and principles. Detailed understating of legislation and the application of the requirements;
- High level interpersonal skills including consultation, conflict resolution and conciliation skills to assist in the resolution of complex Revenue Services issues;
- No relevant criminal record found in a police check.
