- Our consumer division are seeking a Risk Manager to play a pivotal role as trusted advisor and business partner to key senior stakeholders on business-critical risk and compliance matters
- Managing aspects of the implementation, execution and monitoring of the risk management framework, partnering with the business to ensure that current and emerging risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and monitored.
- Supporting the business with the development, execution and monitoring of remedial activity for operational loss or compliance incidents.
- Providing insights on root cause(s), identify actions to be implemented to prevent such losses in the future and ensure operational loss are resolved in a timely manner.
- Facilitating workshops to undertake risk and control assessments, monitoring relevant documents, reports, on risk and compliance performance.
- Experience in audit risk and compliance management role to a complex, matrixed general insurance/financial service organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise task and manage competing resources and demands.
- Proven learning agility, analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
