We are looking for someone to lead a workstream of a current project and conduct a comprehensive review of the current state of liquidity stress testing against regulatory requirements.
About the Role:
You will lead a workstream of the project to conduct a comprehensive review of the current state liquidity stress testing function against regulatory requirements and guidance and industry practices. Workstream will be supported by an external consultant and internal stakeholders to effectively identify root cause factors and provide fit for purpose recommendations in a submission to Board. Key to this you will provide the following:
- Provide reporting to inform senior management, Board and APRA as appropriate on key updates throughout the plan.
- Support to ensure delivery is in accordance with internal risk governance processes and implementation is aligned to compliance requirements.
- Support creation of documentation ensure captures compliance requirements.
- Drive improvement in governance practices supporting liquidity management and liquidity stress testing practices.
Your experience:
- Previous experience leading or assisting root cause analysis and/or risk enhancement programs within banking industry, including liaising with regulator and Board engagement.
- An ability to provide advice and support in relation to governance processes, frameworks, practices and control environment.
- Worked in a project providing oversight of program delivery and improvement in control environment.
Ideally you will have the following skills:
- In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance management practices, risk appetite and governance concepts
- Superior stakeholder management and engagement skills, including co-ordination of work and written communications/reporting
- Understanding of financial risk, regulation and legislation related to an ADI.
- Understanding of market and external environment including banking and financial industry principles and regulations
