About the Opportunity

La Vita Care is looking for an experienced Rostering/Administration Officer to work in our office in Camberwell, along with occasionally working from our site locations.  The successful candidate will be part of a rostering team in the day to day requirements of rostering staff for the services provided to our clients. The Rostering / Administration Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of rostering staff within the services. The role will be forecasting rosters in advance, working with staff for availability and then monitoring rosters on a daily basis, ensuring all shifts are covered with the appropriate, trained staff to ensure our clients are getting the service required within their service agreements and also within the relevant staff award rules.  Timesheet management of rostered staff to ensure that pays are processed in a timely and accurate manner with any queries also being followed up.  Administration duties will also be required of the role including answering phones, ordering supplies, assisting with the management of recruitment, monitoring staff compliance requirements, client service agreements, accounts and data entry.  There will also be an after hours requirement within the role, as part of a shared roster, with an allowance being paid.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the disability sector.
  • Demonstrated, proven experience rostering staff across multiple locations within a 24/7 model.
  • Proven experience in the establishment of master rosters and roster forecasting.
  • Proven financial skills with budget management.
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Problem Solving Skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proven can do, positive and willing attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with others.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination including booster.
  • Qualifications valued but not essential.
