We are currently searching for an RTO Project and Quality Officer to join our team.

The Role

This role provides excellent opportunity to use and develop your compliance and administrative organisational skills, as well as contributing to the delivery of excellence throughout our organisation. This role involves oversight of the organisation's compliance against the ASQA standards for Registered Training Organisations, high level project management and scheduling of trainers and courses, as well as management of various government contracts relating to receipt of government funding and includes VET in School Contracts, while liaising closely with various government departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing oversight for the orgaisation's compliance against the Standards for RTOs, covering both SA and WA operations
  • Implementing, monitoring and maintaining efficient and effective administrative systems to ensure RTO compliance with standards
  • Providing RTO administration assistance for projects, systems, reporting, courses, and training documents
  • Managing the submission of all reporting and contractual requirements on a timely basis
  • Liaising with various government departments to regularly provide trainee and training information as required
  • Assisting with preparation and submission of a number of varied applications for funding as required
  • Ensuring validation and moderation meetings are held and findings are documents and reported to management
  • Ensuring Program Evaluations and statics are reported to management
  • Ensuring trainer matrices are implemented and maintained
  • Ensuring trainer currency and professional development are recorded
  • Ensuring training material reviews and improvements are tracked
  • Developing, maintaining and managing all RTO general administrative tasks ensuring continuous improvement
  • Ensuring that all government reporting requirements for the RTO activities are fulfilled within required timeframes

The Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:

  • Enthusiasm for working in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
  • In-depth experience, understanding and knowledge relating to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) is essential. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.  
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Willingness to support new student recruitment efforts.
  • Proficiency in general administrative tasks, such as data entry, database management, printing, collating, and distributing training and marketing documentation to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with people-based databases, preferably PowerPro, although not essential.
