Who we’re looking for:
Promote the development and implementation of safety, environmental and quality standards that address all compliance and due diligence requirements.
Provide support to construction and estimating staff in relation to safety, environmental and quality requirements.
Be a contact person for safety, environmental and quality matters.
Assist in safety, environmental and quality audits and inspections.
Analyse findings of these audits and inspections for systems improvement.
Assist in the preparation reports for senior management.
Assist with education and training of BMD staff in the areas of safety, environmental and quality systems.
Assist in the preparation of work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans.
Identify and communicate system changes and improvements.
You may also have the following additional desirable skills:
Experience in the civil construction industry or a comparable industry
Experience using SharePoint and/or JobPac software applications, and the Microsoft Office suite.
