Role Overview:
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity available for a Safety and Quality Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) performance across our QLD and NSW operations.
Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager, you will be collaborating with our teams to maintain our commitment to excellence in HSEQ standards, as well as assisting with the development and implementation of HSE initiatives and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with standards and oversee the maintenance of our safety & quality management system
- Report and address site risks, hazards and near misses
- Respond to incidents promptly, assisting in investigations and developing strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, ensuring our company policies, processes and practices meet legislative requirements and industry best practice
- Manage and chair the weekly safety meetings and support the HSE team in achieving their responsibilities
- Conduct and arrange safety related training sessions as needed
We Are Looking For:
- 2-3 years experience as a Safety Administrator, having completed or working towards completing a Health & Safety related certification/qualification
- Strong administration and computer skills, ability to multi-task, take accurate minutes of meetings, following up accordingly with urgency
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements including safety reporting, safety promotion, training and monitoring.
- Exceptional attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current drivers licence
