The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic full-time permanent opportunity for a Safety Business Partner - Agribusiness to join our Agribusiness team. Based in our Perth office with regular travel to our stations, farms and feedlot in Western Australia, this role will partner with the Agribusiness team to provide expert advice on Safety best practices and implement practical solutions for positive outcomes.
As a solution-based individual you will keep up to date with innovative safety solutions and keep the team informed on relevant legislation related to WHS. You will provide context related to relevant safety metrics to inform key decisions relating to safety improvements for the Agribusiness and partner with the team for continuous improvement to keep our people safe.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar corporate role working across multiple companies/locations.
- 5 years of experience in a Senior Safety role or similar (Safety Practitioner).
- Experience working in regional environments and the agricultural industry.
- Understanding of animal welfare and bio-security standards
- Hold a current driver’s licence.
- Strong computer skills and report writing.
- High level of Problem-solving skills.
- Positive stakeholder engagement at all levels in the organisation.
