You have worked as a safety advisor or manager in the construction sector over 10 years and are ready for your next challenge.
You want to work at a company that takes safety seriously and is embedded throughout the core of the business.
It could be a step up into a Safety Manager role or it’s time for you to build your own team in a growing company. Either way, you’ll need some drive and ambition to take on this challenge.
Initially, a key focus for you is getting them over the line with obtaining federal accreditation, a process they have already started. So you’ll need to have had exposure to government/defence projects in Australia and understand how federal accreditation works.
Building your own team means you’ll hire 2 new advisors to work on two $40million projects in QLD and in the future hire an advisor for their NSW office which you’ll visit every few months.
So yeah, this role has a bit going on and isn’t for the faint-hearted. They have ISO accreditation and have just passed their recent audit, and you’ll be supported by the MD and NSW Director so if it all goes well then you will be getting the plaudits.
Salary starts in the $200k - $250k
package range + a bonus in September. You’ll soon find out why their staff retention was at 87% last year as their social committee are always planning family-friendly events to do as a team.
You’ll get exposure to a wide range of projects in the education, industrial, retail, gov and commercial sectors ranging from $5-$50million.
