The Company:
Heritage Minerals’ Mt Morgan Tailings processing and rehabilitation project is situated on the historic Mt Morgan mine site just south of Rockhampton. Using advanced, proven technology in a customised processing plant, the project will extract commercial quantities of minerals while rehabilitating the majority of the project site. Currently in construction phase the project will provide over 150 operational jobs and 450+ indirect jobs over the life of the mine.
The Opportunity:
The principal responsibility of the role is to help shape and deliver the Heritage Minerals Health and Safety strategy, support statutory compliance with relevant health, safety, and quality legislation within the region. You will support the efficient operations of the business by working with the development, construction, and asset management teams to implement and support appropriate health, safety, environmental and quality ISO management systems.
Skills/Experience:
- 5 + years relevant technical knowledge gained through substantial and sustained Health and Safety experience in the mining, construction, energy, engineering and re-habitation areas
- Track record of success gained in varied Health and Safety roles within complex environments.
