About the Role:

Our Client is looking to add an experienced Safety Superintendent to their growing team. This role will see you utilise your knowledge and experience to develop, enforce and assess Health and Safety policies, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and striving for a safer workplace.

Mandatory certifications:

• Diploma or Cert IV in Work Place Health & Safety
• G1, G8 & G9 (Mine Supervisor)
• G2 Risk Facilitator
• Return to Work & Rehabilitation Certification
• G7 RIIWHS601E Establish and Maintain the WHS Management System
• G3 RIIWHS601E Establish and Maintain the Risk Management System Unit
• Current First Aid Certificate ( Including CPR)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and best practices (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)

Skills and experienced required:

• Trained in ICAM and practical application of ICAM in similar settings
• Rehabilitation and Return to Work experience
• Knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing open cut coal mining.
• Ability to Implement and review the operation Risk Register and Safety Health Management System (SHMS) to maintain alignment with critical risks and HSEC Management
