About the PIMS Role: Based in Mackay with some travel to sites required, the Health & Safety Superintendent will facilitate and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of PIMS Group Safety and Health strategy. The incumbent will play a leadership role in promoting a positive safety culture and will provide timely safety and health advice and support to the management team and workforce. About the Core Responsibilities Comply with the: PIMS Groups Health and Safety Management Plan; and All Health and Safety policies. Ensure that: Work practices and systems across the site are consistent with requirements of PIMS Health & Safety Policies & Procedures. Developing, auditing, and reviewing Project Safety Management Systems Developing and reviewing risk assessments Developing Medical Management Plans Systematically analysing incidents and documenting the outcomes and action plans Pro-actively implementing and demonstrating Risk Management principles and actions. Heighten awareness of health aspects such as fatigue management, drug and alcohol awareness and processes involved with physical and psychological impairment.
