About the Role
The HSE Business Partner is responsible for enabling a contemporary HSE and risk management culture throughout the organisation by assisting in the implementation of objectives, process improvement initiatives, risk management and reporting systems within the SunRice Group. This role pro-actively partners with line managers and employees across a diverse range of departments, functional teams and depots to enable solutions; and builds organisational capability in line with SunRice HSE Management System requirements.
The HSE Business Partner will support the Group Safety and Operations teams in enabling the proactive implementation and continual improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) culture, strategy, plan and performance.
About You
- Strong business operations and stakeholder focus
- An understanding of business issues and challenges faced by operational managers in implementing HSE processes and programs
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritise work, and to work autonomously but collaboratively
- Strong facilitation skills from planning to achieving desired outcomes
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in the interpretation and analysis of HSE legislation and audit criteria
- Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with employees, contractors, management and stakeholders
- Demonstrated capabilities in investigating incidents in line with established methodologies
- Ability to interact with and influence a diverse team at all levels of the organisation
- High level problem solving capability
- Valid driver’s license
