We are looking for a sales professional and Business development manager with a mining and construction industry background.
The primary role of the position is to lead Business development activities and build market share in dry hire, wet hire and project work throughout qld and nsw.
Location: Tweed Heads - role requires interstate and national travel
As a Sales and Business development manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our industry presence and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and nurturing long term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the civil earthmoving and mining sector. - Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client base and market reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and developers.
- Collaborate with the Sales and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver proposals to prospective clients.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives as outlined by the management team.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Business development or sales within the civil earthmoving or mining industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
