Sales and Business Development Manager

We are an Australian owned and run family business specialising in printing and flexible packaging and we are based in Capalaba, QLD

We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager who is highly motivated and driven for success.  Someone who is hardworking, dedicated and reliable.

This is an extremely varied role and we need someone who is willing to ask questions and be prepared to learn our products.

Job Description

You will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of clients, including existing clients ,as well as developing and maintaining new business relationships.

A key focus of the role will be to identify and win new business, as well as looking for opportunities and implementing marketing ideas to expand client interest across our full range of products.   

We need someone who is able to work autonomously and under pressure and you will need to consistently achieve Sales and performance targets.

It would be advantageous if you have experience in the Printing / Packaging Industry and understanding of print specifications and terminology.

The basic requirements are;

Sales 

• Continuous new business research and development activities
• Cold calling new potential prospects
• Quoting as required
• Preparing samples tailored to inquiry
• Order processing, artwork approval process and order monitoring 
• Client management - repeat orders and new opportunities to existing clients

The Successful Applicant should demonstrate the following;

• Strong sales experience with a proven track record in achieving set targets
• Experience in direct sales
• Passion for developing new clients and cold calling
• Passionate about the industry and prepared to learn
• Strong communication skills – both internally and externally
• Strong customer focus
• Good presentation
