Sales and Events Manager – Full-time
Position description:
Create and deliver your own sales channels through innovative ideas and new opportunities, maintaining a schedule of events, assist with processing billing and securing necessary approvals I timely manner, prepare and organize all sales reports and other paperwork, ensure smooth and accurate billing and contract procedures, monitoring of media schedules to sync with clients, travel alone or with director for client meetings and event engagements, coordinate between director and clients, maintain a updated database, operate through CRM, coordinate multiple daily conference calls and maintain updated files related to sales.

General Responsibilities
- Create and deliver your own sales channels through innovative ideas and new opportunities
- Be on the lookout for new business opportunities through new and existing clubs, festivals, potential event collaborators or buyers, and brands.
- You will be expected to draw up a monthly target list for content & editorial sales, pre-agreeing on short and long term KPIs with the Director
- Be prepared to travel alone or with to meet clients, attend key events and conferences, press trips.
- Maintain a schedule of events (paid, partnership, sponsored, pop-up, client activation etc) that is accessible to all members of the team.
- You will be expected to draw up a monthly target list for event sales, pre-agreeing on short and long term KPIs with the Director
- You may be expected to travel to manage and/or attend events as ‘event manager’ and or/ representative of the brand.
- Assist with processing billing and securing necessary approvals in a timely manner
- Revision and proofreading of contracts and agreements
- Prepare and Issue invoices to clients
- Prepare and organise sales reports and other paperwork o Invoicing and Financial Account platforms may be shared with you
- Ensure smooth and accurate billing and contract procedures
- Monitoring of media schedules to sync with clients
- Ensure a 360- communication-system between Client, Director, Editorial, Design and Social Media Producer receive final plans and documentation for all client and project related content.
- Travel alone or with the Director for client meetings, event engagements etc.
- Schedule agendas, events , meeting invitations and travel
- Prepare estimated and projected costs for travel for meetings, activations, festivals, press trips etc, with Director before each commitment
- Coordinating between Director and clients o Ensure Director is notified of deadlines, urgent client requests and necessary follow-ups
- Maintain updated database (emails and client lists)
- Operate through a CRM such as Salesforce o Conduct research to collect and organise useful client data
- Set priorities for various sales e.g. events, single purchases, long-term retainers
- Develop and follow up on pipelines for all enquiries
- Coordinate multiple daily conference calls
- Maintain updated programming lineup and future projects, content deliverables, event deliverables (production, artist programming, logistics)
- Maintain updated files related to sales (paper and digital.
