About the role
The primary function of the Hire and Sales Co-Ordinator is to successfully execute safe and financially sustainable hire and sale activities throughout the Eastern Region. This role is a hybrid role which includes a combination of equipment hire & Sales and general administrative functions.
General Responsibilities
- Handle Phone sales, email Sales and walk ins
- Provide basic technical advice and product information
- Account management, order processing and relationship building with customers.
- Overall Management of new and existing sale/hire contracts and providing assistance to customers
- In conjunction with the operations team assist with co-ordination of and delivery of orders to site ensuring the customer is always kept up to date through the sales process.
- Ensure CRM (Monday) up to date and log all interactions.
- Generate hire quotations using Insphire or similar type software.
- Support Commercial Manager is generating sales analytical data for reporting purposes.
- Support Commercial Manger with regular reviews on the on-advertising platforms are up to date and display the correct information and the pricing
- Support the creation of sales decks, brochures, information booklets and related marketing material in conjunction with the Solutions team and marketing team.
- Follow company quality management policies and procedures and undertake OH&S duties as required or directed.

- The Sales co-ordinator shall have regular contact with clients and should always actively seek to resolve concerns, complaints and act on requests as appropriate.
- Ensure that customer requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner

Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours
Essential
- Vocational or degree education qualification
- At least 2 years sales experience
- Computer skills in website maintenance, Microsoft office
- Experience in selling or hiring either diesel generators or welders
- Electrical or Mechanical Trade qualification
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills and a good capacity to interpret and respond to requests.
- High degree of professionalism and works well autonomously or as part of a wider team
