ABOUT THE ROLE

If you are looking for a change or to begin a career in sales, then this role is the perfect opportunity to join our fun, fast paced and ever growing Chemcouriers Sydney Sales Team.

The Sales Cadetship Program will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to become an expert in supply chain and logistics, learn valuable sales skills and give you exposure to fantastic career opportunities.  You will be surrounded by experienced, energetic and successful sales professionals who will take you under their wing to guide you, develop you, and mentor you towards a fulfilling and successful sales career with never-ending career opportunities.

The successful applicant does not require any prior experience in sales, however we are looking for an energetic and passionate person with a desire to transition into a full time Business Development Executive or Customer Development Executive role in the future.

ABOUT THE CADETSHIP

  • 12 months hands on, structured and supported training
  • Learning all business functions with practical hands on experience in operations, administration, customer service, and sales
  • Exposure to the wider global business, including warehousing, international forwarding and domestic transport
  • Researching and qualifying potential business prospects
  • Assisting the Business Development team in nurturing leads
  • Assisting the Customer Development team in analysis, reporting, and actioning continuous improvement projects for our valued customers
  • Assisting the Customer Development team with customer freight tracking
  • Proactive communication of delivery expectations to our valued customers
  • Attending internal and external sales training sessions
  • Involvement in Group state and national sales meetings and conferences

  • Have a willingness to learn is a must, as is excellent personal presentation
  • Be strong internal drive to succeed showing initiative to develop their knowledge
  • Be a team player
