Founded in 1972, Narangba Timbers is known as Brisbane’s favourite timber merchant. Located in Narangba on Brisbane’s Northside, we supply a large range of timber products for an even larger range of applications, including Decking, Flooring, Landscaping, Structural Support and Cladding.
Under new ownership over the last 4 years, Narangba Timbers has experienced consistent and steady growth and we have even bigger plans for exponential growth over the next few years. This is an exciting time to join our team!
Who are we seeking?
This 12 month fixed term contract is to cover one of our team members' parental leave, however there is the possibility of being offered a permanent role as our company continues to grow.
The successful applicant will join our team of passionate Sales & Customer Service Officers who are responsible for:
- Supporting all customer enquiries including providing quotes and processing sales orders via various communication methods - phone calls, email enquiries and website enquiries
- Contacting customers to follow up on quotes - and converting quotes into sales through effective positive selling techniques
- Account management - Building and maintaining customer relationships through providing outstanding Customer Service
- Effectively executing priorities to achieve KPIs and financial targets
- Providing coverage for team members in our retail showroom - supporting our customers who attend our site in making product decisions
- Liaising with suppliers to order products to meet the needs of our customers
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following:
- Passion for providing high levels of Customer Service
- Experience in a sales role / Customer Service role with a demonstrated ability to grow sales through effective relationship building
- Professional communication skills - both written and verbal
- A passion for continuous learning and development
- Experience in the timber industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
