A leading business growth organisation is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their high-performing team. Your new role
As an SDR, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering valuable partnerships. You’ll be working closely with organisation partners, incoming leads, and referrals. Your primary focus will be on boosting attendance and participation at partner events within a target market.
Responsibilities:
First Point of Contact: You’ll be the initial touchpoint for all incoming opportunities related to in-person and online workshops.
Digital Lead Management: Respond promptly to incoming digital leads and convert them into actionable opportunities.
Event Success: Ensure event registrations translate into actual attendance, emphasising both high-touch and high-tech approaches.
Sales Call Facilitation: Secure pre- or post-event “sales calls” and seamlessly hand them over to our closing team.
Cold Calling: Leverage pre-qualified lists to book sales calls and expand our pipeline.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with secured partners, promoting advocacy and demonstrating the value of the programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team, contributing to both pre- and post-event activities.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a regular call cycle (both in the field and remotely) to nurture both active and inactive opportunities.
Referral Business: Expand our pipeline by facilitating referral-based business growth.
Not Ready Yet Opportunities: Nurture a pipeline of prospects who may not be ready to engage immediately.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, 2+ years in Sales Development, preferably with B2B experience.
Demonstrated experience of managing a CRM
Ability to think on your feet and able to effectively resolve problems
Excellent communication skills (both in writing and speaking)
Ability to be able to research and understand prospects and personalise the outreach
Must have a driving licence
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
