As part of the Commercial Building Services, this position as Sales Engineer will handle the sales within the assigned business scope within the framework of the strategies and policies of the company to deliver sales targets. This role will be based in Newington, New South Wales.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager for Commercial Building Services, the qualified candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide great customer service, reflecting solid knowledge of customer needs and perception of best value.
- Handling of sales within assigned business scope within the framework of the strategies and policies of the company
- Continually grow and develop personal expertise within products and applications relevant to the market sector and customer base.
- Execution of the Commercial Building Services division tactical plan including both sales and marketing activities
- According to sales targets, work out sales strategy and sales budget in the specific business area of the specific region. After review and approval by the management, carry out the qualitative and quantitative tasks in respect of policies and the authority assigned.
- Apply Sales Excellence principles utilising SAP CRM
- Retention and growth of key customers including dealers, building project owners, engineering contractors, design institutes, and consulting firms.
- Identify and implement new opportunities within the division to increase the share of wallet and potential growth areas.
- Conduct customer training including online and face-to-face formats.
- Any other responsibilities commensurate with the position as required.
- Bachelor's degree or above in business or similar.
- Experience building developed processes within Commercial Building Services.
- Ability to develop processes or projects.
- Ability to operate a business process within Commercial Building Services.
- Most likely to have 3-5 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.
- Solid knowledge of the plans, processes, and activities within the functional area in Commercial Building Services.
- Experience in delivering major projects.
- Good ability to influence others and possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws, and regulations where applicable, for the Commercial Building Services.
