Sales Opportunity with a Leading International Freight Forwarder
Are you ready to elevate your career with a top-tier international Freight Forwarder boasting an impressive global client portfolio? Were seeking a driven and ambitious professional to drive business and expand our service offering within the Geelong Territory.
The ideal individual for this role will come from a Forwarding background in either customer service or operations and be keen to establish a career in Business Development. You will be provided with training, mentoring to develop your skills in this area, all you need to bring is drive and a can do attitude.
The successful candidate will
- Have the ability to secure new business within their assigned territory
- Identify new prospective customers and develop solutions and strategies to close each opportunity
- Develop pricing, service, and product strategies to deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Maintain and report pipeline and closed activity
- Ability to utilise the strength of the internal network to effectively prospect and qualify leads
- Work closely and successfully with the internal teams to ensure effective customer onboarding and customer service.
Essential Skills Required for this role are
- Experience in freight forwarding with a strong drive to establish a career in sales
- Actively seeks opportunities to develop and expand own individual skills
- Understands and communicates clearly both internally and externally
- Ability to engage and build strong client relationships
- Uphold company culture and high standards
- Must have full Australian working rights
- Full Australian driving license
