The successful BDM candidate will
- Achieve new business targets.
- Identify and engage new prospective customers, developing tailored solutions and strategies to close each opportunity.
- Develop pricing, service, and product strategies to provide innovative solutions for customers.
- Maintain and report on pipeline and closed activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and exceptional customer service.
Essential Skills Required for this role are
- Proven experience in sales/Business Development in freight forwarding / International Logistics
- Evidence of increased sales track record within current customer portfolio
- Strong self-motivation and a relentless drive to succeed.
- Impeccable presentation and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Passionate for continuous learning and development
- Routinely meets or exceeds agreed targets
- Understands, communicates and creates solutions to meet customer needs
- Ability to engage and build strong and profitable relationships
- Must have full Australian working rights
- Full Australian driving license
