An amazing opportunity to join the growing Bass & Flinders Distillery team. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive based in Mornington Peninsula in a part time capacity. Sales Executive Responsibilities:
• Actively contribute to the development of BFD sales strategy and objectives though identifying sales / marketing / product opportunities
• Build and develop long term, sustainable ‘Trusted Advisor’ relationships with customers - current and prospective
• Customer base includes both off-premise venues (retail) and on-premise venues ie. group hospitality entities, restaurants, bars, hotels etc. which align with BFD’s brand and product suite
• The SE is to grow BFD’s customer base focusing sales and marketing activities in the Mornington Peninsula, and other inner areas as agreed with Manager
• Manage sales orders for customers, ensuring both deliveries and invoicing are executed promptly and accurately
• Participate in consumer / trade-related events and activities on an as-needs basis and as agreed with Manager
• Keep up-to-speed with industry trends, innovations and networks in order to further enhance sales and marketing opportunities for BFD
• Organise, manage and execute off-site industry events, national account and independent in-store tastings as required and consumer events as agreed
• Maintain CRM tool with up-to-date Customer Account Plans for your portfolio, including Account Strategy, and a full organisational structure of each account and group to ensure our business
• Focus to be equally on acquiring new customers, prioritising those determined to be onbrand, generate volume sales and guarantee on-going commitment to BFD, and maintaining, fostering and developing on-going relationships with existing and long-term customers
• Foster relationships and build trust with all customers, understanding their needs and audience, and assisting in the development of a tailored product range / cocktail listing for on-going commitment
• Execute consumer sampling and trade-tasting events when required
• This role reports through to the Sales & Marketing Manager
• Vehicle and valid Driver’s Licence required as well as a valid Victorian RSA
