About the role:
- This position is a stepping stone into the role of a Business Development Manager giving the successful candidate a pathway to develop and understand the business before stepping into a sale focussed role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize workloads/schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods, both interstate and intrastate.
- Utilize Standard Operating Procedures to coordinate on-time delivery of goods.
- Spend scheduled time in the field liaising with key account customers, assisting in store merchandising standards and product training.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, upholding our safety culture.
- Contribute to the company's ISO accreditations for quality and safety.
- Work collaboratively with the national team, fostering positive communication with team members and customers.
- Training to be provided in identified areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Background in warehouse operations, ideally in a trade environment.
- Familiarity with the building trade and retail hardware stores.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Business Central (desirable).
- Ability to set and meet own goals.
- Capacity to work productively and unsupervised to meet business KPIs.
- Hold a current Australian Driver's License.
- Forklift license (minimum of 12 months required - LF); experience with a combi lift is beneficial.
- Willingness to participate in government-recommended vaccination programs.
