Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive product sales and align marketing initiatives across all Tutu du Monde sales channels. The purpose of this role is to, in partnership with the COO, lead current account management, identify and open up new business opportunities, and optimise product flows, from buying for the online and retail channels, to pricing and sell thru in those channels.
This role will lead, in partnership with the COO, the implementation of sales strategies across wholesale and ecommerce platforms focusing on the achievement of daily and seasonal budgets while upholding brand integrity in values and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy:
- Develops and achieves short and long-term sales objectives across all sales channels to grow the wholesale and ecommerce business domestically and internationally.
- Establishes and maintains agent and distributor relationships
- Builds and maintains relationships with buyers and manages in season sell thru and re-orders.
- Ensure on-brand product presentation and effective marketing initiatives with all partners as well as contributing to collaboration ideas with potential partners
- Reporting across all sales channels inclusive of assortment analysis, sell thru and end of season reporting to maximise all product and sales opportunities
- Maintain strong awareness of market trends and competitor activity
Sales Management:
- Drives sales and looks for improvement opportunities across all sales channels.
- Manages our B2B system including uploading of products and delivery or all communication to our wholesale partners
- Buys for the online and retail channels
- Tracks ecommerce sales and ensures OTB are in line with sales plans.
- Ensures that sell through levels are appropriate and partners with the COO to implement appropriate promotional activity in that respect
- Reporting and analysis of ongoing sales budgets and results and identifying opportunities. Performs weekly, monthly and end of season analysis.
- In partnership with marketing, works through all marketing plans to maximize marketing opportunities across all categories for ecommerce and wholesale.
- Manages product showings via our showroom, agents and trade shows for key accounts.
- Ensures accounts are in line with brand guidelines for E-commerce and online presence.
- Manages wholesale dispatch and logistics for all collection launches
- Seeks customer feedback and feeds into design team to maximise product opportunities and mitigate potential losses.
Qualifications and requirements
- Minimum 5 years International and Domestic Account Management experience.
- Experience as an Account Manager in a B2B and B2C environment.
- Experience in Retail and Fashion
- Experience as a buyer
- Intermediate Excel experience for the management of sales data and reporting.
- Experience supervising others.
- Fluent in working with ERP systems, as well as online platforms, ideally Shopify
- Enthusiastic, innovative and pro-active
- Strong communicative, organizational and presentation skills
- Team player that can work in a collaborative environment
- Is a strong brand ambassador for Tutu Du Monde, is articulate and well presented
