As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and maximizing sales opportunities within the timber industry. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions from our diverse range of timber products. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled customer service.
BOM Timber is a family owned and operated timber supply company based in Campbelltown and servicing all of Sydney Metro, Illawarra, South Coast and Regional NSW. We are in a growth phase of the organisation and require highly skilled professionals to join our team.
The required duties to be undertaken within the position are as follows:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand our market presence and reach new customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers, addressing inquiries and offering recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
The successful candidate will have experience within the following essential criteria:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the timber or construction industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
