The Role
We are currently recruiting a District Sales Manager, based in NSW, to oversee the management and development of a team of highly experienced and successful primary care representatives across NSW south.
- Coach, develop and manage the team of GP Sales representatives
- Encourage and coach the team to deliver the highest level of achievement
- Manage the team's annual sales targets and implement appropriate sales activities
- Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders including marketing and medical
- Regularly conduct employee evaluation and performance reviews
- Deliver annual sales and activity targets for the assigned territories
- Manage and implement sales activity plans for the product portfolio
- Manage and execute digital approach to customer engagement
- Run and manage industry/medical events and presentations
- Degree in life sciences/business or the equivalent combination of education & experience.
- People management experience from direct reporting lines required
- Primary sales experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry
- Budgeting/ cost centre mgt experience
- Experience with the development and execution of business plans
- Proven ability to understand technical, scientific and medical information
- Medicines Australia Code of Conduct accreditation
- Proven experience driving high-performance teams
- Strong infield coaching experience
