Job Description
Seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to lead our sales and business development team in driving revenue growth through the exploration of new business opportunities in Australia & New Zealand.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Develop a comprehensive business strategy aimed at driving focused revenue growth, incorporating the utilization of digital marketing resources, exploring new markets, and identifying additional revenue streams.
- To actively grow the client base through interaction with (primarily) new clients with sales teams.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of highly driven sales.
- Manage all tender documentation through to presentation stage and contract negotiations in line with SGS Bid management processes.
- Ensure contracts with customers and suppliers are in place and meet with SGS Legal Guidelines.
- Analyse and report on the business performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Using CRM to report on sales pipeline activity
- Ensure the delivery of results and agreed services on time and with full customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customer complaints are followed up and corrective actions raised and resolve
Qualifications
- Experience in sales for Food safety or other certified management systems auditing (preferred)
- Experience in managing a sales team
- Experience in driving new business, market segment development
- Excellent communication skills
- Key account management skills/customer service
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Computer literacy in all MS office modules and CRM experience
