As a Sales Officer within the Australian Lifesaving Academy (ALA) you will identify and maximise sales opportunities of First Aid training and equipment within NSW/ACT.

About the role
This role is responsible for providing customer service to our valued clients, managing and growing existing business, as well as identifying and maximizing new business opportunities for First Aid training and equipment withing NSW/ACT across various industries. The Academy Sales Officer will contribute to business planning, sales and marketing initiatives.
Some of the key duties will include:
- Work closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Develop relationships with clients, build account strategies and provide excellent after-sales support.
- Identify and gain new business through various means including cold calling, referrals and mailing.
- Remain current with legislation surrounding First Aid kits, training requirements, and other products and services offered by ALA.
- Coordinate, conduct and participate in sales promotions, campaigns, events and displays.
What you’ll need
- Minimum 2 years sales experience and/or formal training in sales,
- High commercial and business acumen.
- Intermediate PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM).
- Experience with dealing with client correspondence and first line queries.
- Ability to identify and map business strengths and customer needs.
- Sound marketing skills.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and skills including public speaking and relationship management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
