About the opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Business development professional to grow and enhance our Milwaukee business and customer base within the construction sector. Reporting to the Job Site Solutions Construction Manager, you will be charged with your own territory from the northern Brisbane suburbs through to the Sunshine Coast to convert strategic users to the Milwaukee brand.

Key duties:

  • Target and educate end users to convert to Milwaukee products and achieve sales targets.
  • Effectively present Milwaukee products and solutions to the construction industry.
  • Maintain consistent and open communication with the Area Sales Management team.
  • Develop a positive personal business relationship with all customers.
  • Drive in-field conversions, trialling of new product and increasing brand awareness.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to seek out and convert opportunities - must have a "hunter" mentality.
  • Field Sales or End User sales experience.
  • High level of autonomy - must be highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Trade background/ Hands on experience with tools is desirable.
  • Computer literate, comfortable with MS suite and experienced with CRM systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Full driver's license with excellent driving record.
