Gybe Consulting are partnering with a proud ASX listed company. This organisation is a key supplier to the Australasian economy, employing over 1500 staff across six business divisions.
They are now recognised as one of the key metal distributors in Australasia. 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Representative to join the team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in developing and growing sales through existing and new customers. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a proven track record in sales, ideally within steel or construction, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the existing customer base by establishing strong relationships and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Handle day-to-day customer enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a geographical territory of customer accounts, ensuring consistent customer contact to foster strong working relationships.
  • Proactively engage in marketing activities to raise the profile of the product range.
  • Develop and maintain a sufficient number of sales leads in alignment with monthly and annual budgets.
  • Attend sales meetings to discuss progress and strategies for achieving sales targets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, including efficient management of any customer complaints.
  • Participate in regular staff training to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle customer enquiries promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous territory management experience is required.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service across all communication channels.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, adapting communication style to suit different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner to drive sales.
  • Willingness to assist and support team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to accomplish objectives effectively within given time frames and efficiently manage administrative duties.
  • Professional and friendly approach, ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail, confident manner, positive approach to change, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
