Responsibilities:
- 30% Prospecting into FactSet core and non-core industries. Uncovering new opportunities that FactSet is not present in
- 25% Actively working with consultants to manage trial process
- 15% Collaboration with PD to provide feedback on prospective client needs and competitive analysis
- 15% Develop a universal knowledge of the FactSet platform to facilitate product demonstrations to new and existing clients; Utilize FactSet SMEs to demonstrate detailed FactSet product capabilities
- 10% Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge and form sales strategies
- 5% Diligently maintain the sales cycle from prospecting to trial to closing new clients
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of experience required
- Strong technical skills and deep FactSet product knowledge, and strong analytical skills
- Broad and up-to-date knowledge of the financial technology industry including trends and market demands
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities with new clients
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense for creating a positive customer experience to clients
- Hunter mentality who is not deterred by rejection
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations
