Driveline Services Australia is an Australian owned and operated automotive aftermarket company specialising in the manufacture, distribution and repair of a wide range of mining, industrial, agricultural, road transport and 4WD drivetrains. With over 100 people, and 42 years of industry experience, we’re a growing company operating in 13 branches stretching along the eastern seaboard of Australia from Townsville to Tasmania and across to Perth.

What is this job about?
You’ll be part of a close-knit sales team to support the Driveline branch network throughout the east coast of NSW. The role is preferrable based in our Newcastle branch in Beresfield or our Sydney branch in Greenacre. With a passion for helping each of our customer’s business achieve success in the heavy and light mobile equipment industry, you’ll be providing solutions that can be counted on to help them reach their goals.
Key to this role is working alongside our customers, listening, understanding and providing maintenance solutions for their business. We’ll take the time to train you in Driveline’s diversified solutions and to introduce you to our established customer base.

- Providing technical and general customer support solutions
- Meet and understand our customers’ business needs.
- Expand business from these relationships and develop new business customers
- Reporting on customer interactions and activities using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform

(Salary to be negotiated in accordance to industry background and experience – a commercial dual cab utility is included in the salary package).

What you'll need to demonstrate...
- Either solutions sales experience within a heavy or light vehicle, road transport, engineering solutions industry OR Mechanical knowledge working hands on in the diesel industry and seeking a career change
- Ability to travel and work autonomously (usually a week in a month to regional customer locations)
- MS Office skills and confidence to pick up our CRM system
- Great people skills, tenacity and an energetic approach to customer service
- The capability to familiarise yourself with the company’s products and services
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A conscientious attitude and motivated self starter with relevant experience in achieving results utilising territory sales strategies
