Açai Flow is a family run business, owned by two passionate Aussies (and their dog)! We set out to bring the taste of the Amazon to Australia and create an Açai product that is the highest quality, authentic and tastes downright delicious!
What’s the role?
The role will be a responsible mix of account management of our existing customer base together with expanding our reach into new venues. The role is unique in the respect that it is not a traditional sales role. It is heavily centered around account management, there are no specific budgets to be met or stringent KPI’s. You are a motivated, self-starter with a desire to succeed in an account management environment. Leveraging our existing customers and proactively identifying new opportunities, you’ll bring a commercial and strategic approach to compliment your relationship expertise.
You thrive in autonomy, take initiative and exercise your commercial judgement to build strong relationships with our customers. The role is suitable for a person who has current business development experience, is passionate about establishing strong relationships and have a good understanding of the local market. You will be willing to support our customers from enquiry through to conversion and promote a high after care attitude.
About You
- BDM experience in sales/ account management preferably in a FMCG or wholesale environment
- A desire to grow the chosen territory by utilising your experience and current network
- An ability to self-start and drive leads independently
- A willingness to problem solve on the go
- Exceptional time management and self-organisation skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
