Avante Australia is a national wholesaler of bedding, furniture and mobility products based at Narangba on the northside of Brisbane. We have many quality and innovative products and have built strong and lasting relationships with leading retailers and buying groups across the country.
This position is geared towards finding the right candidate with the right attitude so university graduates and veterans in the industry are encouraged to apply. Of course, previous experience in the industry is always advantageous and salary is negotiable accordingly.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Maintain and grow an established sales territory throughout Australia with guidance from Management
- Achieve monthly targets and sales budgets
- Visit customers on a regular call cycle
- Occasional trips to support our Melbourne office
- Assess customer stock and merchandising requirements and introduce new products where possible
- Maintain customer relationships
- Attend Trade Shows & Events
Your expected skill set includes:
- Excellent communication (particularly face to face/on the phone)
- Ability to work autonomously with good time management skills
- Ability to build strong and lasting client relationships
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Intermediate computer skills using MS suit (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) Internet & Email.
- Perform well as part of a team
This position is geared towards an energetic candidate who has a positive attitude, whether you are in a current or similar role, salary is negotiable accordingly.
