About the role
Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for sales? We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our retail sales team. This is a fixed term to permanent role for the right candidate. Reporting to the National Field Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for the management of a defined list of Multi-Site Operators to achieve agreed Sales and Ranging targets.
Accountabilities
- Develops and implements a territory plan to ensure pre-determined stores are serviced on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly frequency
- Completes cycle planning and implements these plans to ensure effective territory management as per set cycle targets
- Ensures territory management is structured to meet sales and marketing objectives
- Updates CRM system after each call, and ensures customer profiling info is accurate, to ensure effective planning and organising
- Building displays to drive brand awareness & increase sales
- Ensures that designated products are ranged and sold in line with ranging targets specified for all stores on the territory
- Defending and expanding product ranging in-stores
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in an FMCG channel
- Capability in servicing grocery stores in a selling capacity
- Professional presentation, demonstrates integrity and high personal standards
- Self-motivated, robust priority planning and effective time management skills
- Good analytical skills and sound business acumen
- Needs to understand the value of sales fundamentals and the logistics in achieving them
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
