About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Officer to support our Marine team in driving business growth and providing a high level of communication with our distributors, manufacturers and dealers. Reporting in the Operations Supervisor – Marine, this is a fulltime position based at our office in Varsity Lakes, Queensland.
You will be responsible for supporting the APAC marine team, supporting distributors with general enquiries, order processing and order follow up.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Provide exceptional support level to our customers
- Order processing
- Input, management and follow up of orders
- Monitor and manage B2B orders
- Ensure effective processing and prioritisation of back orders
- Provides order processing support to the marine sales team
- Completes sales orders and return sales orders for customers nationally
- Resolve complaints when required or refer to relevant escalation point in marine team.
- Ensures that all order processing related activities are completed in accordance with Dometic practices.
- Maintains an acceptable standard in housekeeping.
- Provides support during Dometic stocktakes on an as required basis.
- Trade show support as required
The successful candidate must possess the following attributes:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of best practice customer service
- Able to handle competing priorities
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of MS Platforms
- Ready for a new and exciting opportunity!
