The Role- Sales/Account Manager
This role is based in the S.E. suburbs, close to transport, and with plenty of parking. The responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy: Craft and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with the company's vision. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective and individual targets. Analize market trends to identify growth prospects and work with cross-functional teams.
- New Business Development: Be proactive in identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base. Collaborate with potential clients to convert pipeline opportunities into successful sales. Build a robust network of industry contacts to drive leads and referrals.
- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of clients and strengthen existing client relationships. Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs and work with internal teams to provide tailor-made solutions. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Generate detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to guide strategic decisions. Collaborate with inter-company departments to ensure accurate tracking of sales revenue and delivery milestones.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and fostering new business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team toward collective goals.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A collaborative spirit, able to have fun, and work in a team-focused environment
