Sales/Design consultant

 We’re looking for a full-time sales consultant to join our fast-growing sales team. This role is based out of South Yarra, Victoria, however apart of the role is visiting clients in their homes for a design consultation.

We are a vertical garden specialist company that supplies, manufactures, installs and maintains vertical gardens Australia-wide.

We bring nature into everyday spaces through our world-leading nature-based solutions and if you share our passion for plants, we want you to join us!

We offer seven different design options that will help a client solve privacy/greenery/space issues and be the feature of their home.

Your responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients and booking in new appointments.
• Serve as an advocate for VGA.
• Educate clients and their families about our services, options, and the benefits of our products and services.
• Close in-home sales.
• Work at our home show events.
• Work with our sales manager with sales strategies, reporting and goal setting.
• Develop presentations and collateral in line with the brand guidelines.

Qualifications and experience:

• The successful applicant must have proven success and experience in home sales.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and hungry to solve a client's problem with the right solution.
• Clean and organised with the ability to think outside the square.
• Licence a must.

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise work.
• Focused on coming up with solutions that the client wants.
• Establishing good on-going relationships.
• Ability to be a professional problem solver.
• Strong organisation skills and great attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS applications (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), database management (CRM) and website CMS
• Excellent communication skills (fluent written and verbal communication skills in English)
• Reliable and responsible whilst demonstrating a strong work ethic.
• Long-term commitment to being part of a growing business.
• Demonstrate strong ethical and professional standards in all internal and external communications.
• Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and professions.
