About the role:
As a Functional Analyst within the Process & Experience team, supporting our Payroll and Time & Attendance systems and processes, you will play a pivotal role in working with everyone in People & Culture to ensure our employees are paid right on time.
In partnership with Business Analysts/Business Process Owners and the Payroll team, you will identify remediation requirements for issues, conducting thorough analysis and reconciliation to ascertain impact and remediation measures.
Your responsibilities will include implementing changes driven by legislative updates, Enterprise Agreements, and shifts in Pay, Conditions, and Entitlements. You will provide specialised advice for solution design to stakeholders, ensure the continuous update of relevant incident registers, and actively support internal and external audit activities related to systems and processes. You will also coordinate user review audits for Pay & Time systems and contribute to both cyclical and ad hoc reporting and analysis concerning compliance and remediation activities.
Additional responsibilities:
Utilise ServiceNow for first-line support and troubleshooting of Pay & Time system or process issues
Collaborate with technical or process experts to identify root causes and potential solutions
Oversee solution implementation and releases in scheduled sprints, involving relevant stakeholders
Analyse business requirements and translate them into system requirements
Plan and execute Functional Testing, UAT (User Acceptance and Regression Testing), and PVT (Production Verification Testing).
What you will bring:
Strong understanding of Payroll and Wage Compliance
Previous experience in Payroll operations
Understanding of Industrial Relations practices
Experience with interpreting legislation and industrial instruments
Experience planning and executing pay reconciliation and remediation activities
Experience analysing and managing data & presenting information in various formats
Ability to understand connection between system pay rules and pay compliance outcomes
Advanced excel skills.
