Mighty Mentors is excited to find our newest team member that will commence ASAP on a Full-time basis

This is a great opportunity, if you are a team player that enjoys being part of a close-knit team who are all passionate about high quality of service delivery to our NDIS Participants and all working towards achieving positive outcomes.
 

Essential Criteria:

  • You are the main first point of contact for Mighty Mentors for incoming calls, newly referred Participants, and enquiries.
  • Be knowledgeable about each department to ensure you know who to direct calls to within the company.
  • Documentation in our rostering system Shiftcare of all communication to ensure all contact is correctly recorded and the progress and communication for each Participant is transparent in all relevant departments in Mighty Mentors.
  • Have a high attention to detail in everything you do, particularly when creating, amending and removing shifts on the ShiftCare scheduler.
  • Always deliver a high standard of professional communication.
  • Communicating and working in a person-centered approach is essential.
  • Be readily available throughout the duration of your working hours 9am to 5pm.
  • Upon receiving referrals ensure the referrer is contacted via phone call then followed up with an email confirming all information that was discussed is documented via email, strengthening communication.
  • Build and maintain rapport with Participants, Mentors, all stakeholders, and fellow work colleagues. It is crucial as part of Mighty Mentors team, it is essential that a positive, supportive work culture with a can-do attitude is maintained
  • Mighty Mentors work in a fast-paced work environment where your role is vital across the company, the entire company heavily relies on the Scheduling & Referrals Officer to work in a collaborative approach ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow, allowing all staff to pass and carry on tasks, confidently knowing the Scheduling & Roster Officer will ensure to follow up and complete the requested task, have the ability to find a solution to problems, remain reliable ensuring to keep up with the fast pace workflow, ensuring collaboration with a close tight knit team, adopting a positive supportive work culture, all working towards the company’s Mission and kicking goals and strive towards the best outcome achievable.
  • Able to consistently work in a remote setting and be able to contribute to the team remotely by being readily available during business hours and being a supportive member with a can-do attitude.
  • Diligently gather all relevant information required to ensure a new Service Agreement can be completed.
  • Ensure quotes have been created to reflect the requested support times and duration.
  • It is fundamental that as much information is received to ensure Mighty Mentors are aware of the Participants needs and goals for the Service Coordinator to complete the Mighty Mentors Support Plan.
  • Liaising with Support Coordinators, Allied health, and Stakeholders to ensure MMs have all up to date copies of Safety Plans, Behavioral Support plans and any other plans, reports and documents are provided to ensure Service Coordinators receive all relevant information to ensure quality of services are provided to Participants.
  • Engage in strength-based supervision with the General Manager, regularly reflecting on your own work practice in a supportive setting.
  • Adhering to all correct policies and procedures and demonstrating strong work ethics that align with Mighty Mentors Values.
  • Role model, to all employees, participants, Mentors and Stakeholders to work in a person-centered approach and continue to uphold Mighty Mentors supportive and professional work culture.
  • Other duties across all departments may be delegated when required,
  • Attending weekly team meetings, contribute to the team meetings.
  • It is fundamental to have the ability to work autonomously/remotely and within a Team.
  • Crucial to have the ability to engage and build rapport with Team members, Participants, Mentors and stakeholders via phone or video calls.
  • It is of high importance and fundamental to Mighty Mentors to engage proactively with the General Manager, with any feedback, compliments, or complaints, allowing all feedback to be followed up promptly. Mighty Mentors value all our Participants and are proactive on working on continuous improvements.
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed to Mighty Mentors standards.
  • Collaborations with Service Coordinators and all admin staff.
  • Return all calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
  • It is fundamental to ensure good time management is always a priority, ensuring prioritizing the daily workload achieves the best outcome possible.
  • Maintain high standards in your work practice which reflect NDIS guidelines.
