Job Description:Under the Telstra Field Operations (TFO) contract, Downer will provide services including network asset relocations (ARCW), wideband business services (WB), facilities design and construction activities including Tele-power and building upgrades; and a continuation of the 5G mobile rollout. These activities will be delivered across New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Workforce Scheduler to join the team in support of our Telstra Fixed Networks projects. Role can be based out of our project offices in either Melbourne VIC, Milton QLD or North Ryde NSW. Role is accountable for effectively and efficiently scheduling construction works and assigning it to Construction Partners for execution. The role utilises Downer's work-task allocation software to issue Work Order Tickets, track progress and manage feedback of installed quantities from the field. Key Result Areas include: alignment to Downers Values, Construction Partner Scheduling, Reporting & Analysis, Administration & Zero Harm.
ABOUT YOU- Tertiary study in Business Administration or related discipline is advantageous
- Workforce Planning/Scheduling experience on a major project or within a large organisation
- Solid knowledge and experience with a workforce management system
- Experience in the Telecommunications industries is highly preferable
- Intermediate Excel and Word, Basic MS Access
- Basic MS Access, Visio, and MS Project preferred
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management and subcontractors
