About the Role
We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled individual who enjoys working across multiple systems in a young and busy organisation. You will be a critical link in a high-paced and demanding environment, to connect our participants with our dedicated support workers, who provide exceptional support services and quality care to a variety of customers. As a disability services provider with facilities in Perth, Newman and Port Hedland, Keen to Care Australia (KTCA) will provide you with growth opportunities through training and adequate remuneration.
You are expected to be resilient, fast, with a sound understanding and compassion for the importance of supporting people with disabilities. Ideally, you would be passionate, friendly, professional, engaging and caring to successfully schedule support services for our NDIS participants.
If you have been working in aged care or a disability/community service and have exposure to scheduling staff for various shifts and has utilised different NDIS software platforms and understand the industry and its requirements, you would be an ideal candidate to join KTCA!
Your Role:
- Rostering our support workers to meet KTCA and NDIS service delivery requirements
- Schedule support services for our participants
- Read and interpret support plans
- Working with the management team to ensure service level agreements are met
- Organise staff replacement in a timely manner
- Communicate any rostering changes to participants as required
- Coordination of buddy shifts for new and existing employees
- Maintenance of electronic rostering system by liaising with external service providers
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge or experience with scheduling software and workforce planning
- Previous experience in roster preparation for more than 150 staff
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Experience within an office environment and/or Certificate in Business Administration.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher).
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- High levels of interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and genuine care for team members, clients and carers.
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions and contribute to a positive team environment
- Commitment to a delivering an outstanding service and customer experience.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Brevity scheduling software

- NDIS Worker Screening check
