The Role: Schedule Coordinator
Are you ready to be a vital part of our dynamic Operations Team? Based in Malaga, we are seeking a proactive Schedule Coordinator to join us in managing the intricate logistics of our charter services.
In this role, you will play a crucial role in scheduling, planning, and coordinating our charter operations to ensure seamless service delivery. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service while tackling new challenges every day. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling, planning, and coordinating services, drivers, and coaches.
- Forward planning and allocating charter work to vehicles.
- Coordinating and allocating drivers for scheduled work.
- Working closely with drivers to ensure timely scheduling, especially during peak periods.
- Collaborating with subcontractors when necessary.
- Liaising with workshop and operations teams.
- Assisting in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Managing, updating, and storing documents, data, and files.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in transport, logistics, or similar roles with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to proactively find solutions and manage disputes effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of Perth metro and regional areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn Bus Management Software.
- Outstanding time management and attention to detail.
- Flexibility in managing priorities and dispatching jobs in a busy environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
Software Knowledge Requirements:
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Bus Management Software (CMS).
