Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $32.21 per hour (School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)
Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
About the role - duties will include:
- General classroom support
- Preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
- Using technology to support learning activities
Skills and experience:
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of the workings of a classroom
- A willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students
You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Ideally you will have previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
About the school - Xavier Catholic College is a co-educational P-12 College owned and administered by Brisbane Catholic Education which opened in 2003.
