A great receptionist can make all the difference in the ease with which your workday runs. We are currently seeking a person with a warm and open-minded personality to be the face of the school, with an ability to still have a professionalism approach. Naturally a receptionist should have excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills. They spend most of their time dealing with a wide variety of guests, visitors and students who are eager to assist the office. You will be responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties –this includes:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
- Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
