Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with a co-educational Pre-Prep offering. Somerville House students have the opportunity to participate in an extensive academic, sporting and cultural program, while receiving high standards in personal care and individual attention within the School community.
Somerville House is a school of the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA). The PMSA is a mission of the Presbyterian and Uniting Churches.
Providing an essential service as the Somerville House School Receptionist, you will ensure the effective and efficient operation of the School and will see you as the main face and voice of Somerville House.
You will require high level written and verbal communication skills, experience in managing internal and external stakeholders, navigating a high call load and foot traffic, have exceptional customer service and advanced skills in IT (specifically Microsoft Suite).
With the ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks, a high level of accuracy, precision and attention to detail is required to work to the tight timelines and efficiently complete re-occurring tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time, term-time position, working 41 weeks of the year between the operational hours on 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

It is a mandatory requirement to hold a working with children paid blue card. Whilst not essential, experience within a school environment would be advantageous.
